MAR 05, 2003 (newstodate): British Airways has decided to move operations from Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport to the Russian capital's modern Domodedovo Airport from July 1 this year, the airlines says in a statement.
Consequently, British Airways World Cargo will follow suit.
-We are now working with the Domodedovo handling agent, East Line, to develop our air freight handling infrastructure, and we are confident that we will be able to handle cargo from July 1, 2003. We will provide our customers with further updates as we have more information, a BAWC spokesman says.
BA operates 14 weekly flights to Moscow.
