DEC 09, 2003 (newstodate): Norwegian budget airline, Norwegian Air Shuttle's expansive plans for 2004 includes the opening of up to 15-20 new routes.
According to the material published as the airline introduces itself to prospective buyers of shares now being emitted via the Norwegian stock exchange, the new routes will primarily go to major cities in Europe and holiday resorts outside Norway.
To facilitate this expansion, the airline plans to add three new Boeing 737 aircraft to the fleet now consisting of eight Boeing aircraft.
