DEC 17, 2003 (newstodate): Lithuanian Airlines Cargo will remain within the airline, while several subsidiaries are up for sale.
In line with earlier announcements from the airline, the board has decided to put the catering division, originally set up in cooperation with former Danish charter company Sterling Airways, and other activities up for sale.
Further down the line Air Lithuania will be analysed at the next meeting of the board as a feasible next sales object in 2004, reportedly already coveted by SAS that earlier this year decided to pull out of acquisition talks with Lithuanian Airlines.
