DEC 16, 2003 (newstodate): CASS is seeing strong progress in penetrating the Finnish air cargo market despite the fact that Finnair Cargo has still not announced its decision to join.
CASS Nordic that entered Finland from April, 2003, now comprises member airlines including Air Canada, Varig, Air France, Saudia, KLM, SAS, Martinair, Japan Airlines, Polar, and Nippon Cargo Airline.
From January 1, 2004, Thai Airways International, SAS and Emirates will join, too, while Lufthansa Cargo will follow once a new global in-house system has been implemented.
Finnair Cargo is currently expected to join CASS during the first half of 2004.
