DEC 05, 2003 (newstodate): Airbus has made its first delivery to a Baltic airline in a market otherwise dominated by competitors.
Under a lease agreement with Pembroke Group, Latvian carrier LatCharter Airlines has received its first Airbus A320 aircraft to be operated on the airline's routes from Riga to European, Mediterranean and Middle East holiday destinations.
The aircraft is currently configurated to accomodate 148 passengers, but after a reconfiguration it will lift up to 180 passengers.
