NOV 07, 2003 (newstodate): Taiwan has again urged China to support Taiwan's airlink proposal.
With the Christmas season approaching, Shanghai-based Taiwanese high-tech enterprises may experience difficulties in delivering their products from Shanghai to Hong Kong.
The measure, which has adopted the model used for the indirect charter flights provided for Taiwanese businesspeople to return to Taiwan for this year's Lunar New Year vacation, is expected to shorten the current seven-day delivery period to three days.
So far, Taiwan's proposal has been met with a cool reception from China's side.
