NOV 17, 2003 (newstodate): In October, air cargo volumes at Sweden's capital airport Stockholm Arlanda were up two percent, to 5,755 tonnes.
This was, however, not enough to balance a decrease during January-October by 5.5 percent, totalling 43,435 tonnes.
October's growth was prompted by air cargo to and from "rest of world", up 20.3 percent, while European imports and exports were down by 12.2 percent.
