NOV 27, 2003 (newstodate): From November 28, the new Swiss budget airline helvetic plans to start operations.
The airline has today signed a contract with ST Technics to provide maintenance of the airline's Fokker 100 fleet, concluding the row of procuderes leading up to the issuance of a Swiss AOC.
Initially, helvetic will fly to Vienna, Alicante and Valancia.
From January 9, 2004, flights to Brussels, Palma de Mallorca and Malaga will be added, and before the end of 2004, the airline plans to operate to 20-25 European destinations.
