NOV 03, 2003 (newstodate): Billund Airport in western Denmark is seeing its cargo volumes up in October, increasing by 11.4 percent to a total of 4,019 tonnes.
The increase is especially strong in imports, up 14.1 percent to 1,593 tonnes, but exports were up also by 9.3 percent.
For the period January-October statistics are still in the red, with a decrease of 7.3 percent to 33,070 tonnes.
Exports are down by 15.4 percent to 21.272 tonnes, while imports grew by 4.6 percent to 14.413 tonnes.
