OCT 03, 2003 (newstodate): Ukrainean air cargo company Volare Airlines has decided to set up a Baltic subsidiary, Volare Baltija in Lithuania.
-The aim of Volare Baltija is to establish a firm base for serving the North European market, and we plan to position some of our aircraft at a Lithuanian airport in order to provide a fast response to customer demands, says Max Likarenko, Volare Airlines sales director.
Volare Baltija is currently expecting to receive its Lithuanian AOC before the end of the year, and is in the process of designating the management team of the new company.
