OCT 20, 2003 (newstodate): From August 15, 2004, SAS Flight Academy will establish a new training center at Oslo Gardermoen.
Launch customers include Braathens, Scandinavian Airlines and Wider�e, but the facility will be open for other airlines as well.
Initially the new facility will have three full flight simulators, B737NG, B737 Classic, and
Dash8-100/300. There will also be equipment for cabin crew training for the same aircraft types.
The company already has two training centers, one in Stockholm, Sweden, and one in Copenhagen, Denmark, and provides training on 12 different aircraft types for pilots, cabin crews, maintenance technicians and ships' officers.
