OCT 07, 2003 (newstodate): A sustained growth trend in the Danish air cargo market was broken during the second quarter of 2003, according to the latest IATA CASS statistics.
Denmark's total IATA air cargo exports were down by 1.8 percent to 25,610 tonnes, while the total turnover grew by 6.7 percent to DKK 644 million.
Denmark's airfreight volumes destined for North America dropped by one percent while maintaining its No 1 position with 27 percent of total volumes on IATA carriers.
The second largest market, Japan constituting 10.4 percent, was up nine percent, while the third largest market, China at 10 percent, fell 5.1 percent during Q2.
