OCT 14, 2003 (newstodate): Dutch Stork Fokker AESP and Romanian company AEROSTAR S.A have agreed to set up a joint venture.
The new company will have a total registered capital of euro 1,000,000, to be achieved by successive increases during a year, with a participation of 51% from Aerostar and 49% from Stork Fokker.
The parties will set up an advanced technological line for processing of aircraft mechanical components.
The two parties have also signed a long term cooperation agreement, as well as a commercial agreement based on which the Romanian party will supply aviation parts to the Dutch company.
