OCT 31, 2003 (newstodate): Alitalia will convert three MD-11 aircraft into "special freighters", and two of the airline's Boeing 747 freighters will be sold to Volga-Dnepr together with two engines and spares.
These decisions were made at the airline's board meeting on Thursday.
