OCT 21, 2003 (newstodate): Air Namibia is reportedly seeking buyers for its Boeing 747-400 combi aircraft.
The aircraft, that has been in service for only a short period, is expected to be sold to a German aviation company.
Instead, Air Namibia is in the market for leasing two Airbus A340-300 aircraft to take over the longhaul flights from the Boeing at better operational economy, estimatedly cutting costs by 40 percent while allowing the same number of passengersw.
