OCT 31, 2003 (newstodate): From beginning of October, Ukrainean carrier AeroSvit has resumed flights between Ukraine and India.
Operated twice weekly, the route connects Kiev and New Delhi, and departure times have been adjusted to match connections with flights to and from Budapest, Warsaw, Prague, and Stockholm.
Conversely, passengers from the Indian capital will be able to use AeroSvit's and its partner airlines' domestic network, granting access from Kiev to Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, L'viv, Odessa, Simferopol, Kharkiv and other regional centers of Ukraine.
India was formerly served by Ukrainian Airlines that suspended its flights to the Indian capital in 1999.
On October 18th, 2003, AeroSvit Airlines obtained operational authorization for flights to Delhi by the Indian Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
