Icelandic carrier, Islandsflug, has received its second Airbus aircraft, an A300-600RF, which has now been leased to DHL, stationed at Paris.
Earlier in October, 2002, Islandsflug took delivery of an Airbus A300-66R which has been wet-leased by Air France. The carrier also has one A310-300 which serves with TMA Cargo in Beirut, Lebanon.
In addition, Islandsflug, esablished in 1991, operates a fleet of five Boeing 737s - three passenger-only versions, two operated by Channel Express, and one by Greek carrier, Air Miles. One Boeing 737-300 is a freight & cargo version operated by DHL fiuve days a week between Keflavik-Edinburgh-Brussels v.v. while carrying passengers on charter flights during weekends. Also on Islandsflug's roster is one Boeing 737 freighter flying for DHL in Italy.
