Copenhagen, JAN 15, 2003: PNL, the Scandinavian logistics company owned by the post offices of Denmark and Norway, has landed a major worldwide logistics contract with Norwegian-owned Force Electronics, producer of satellite receivers and equipment to the consumer market.
According to PNL, the annual volume of the contract is 26,000 shipments including individual parcels and full pallets to retailers in the Nordic region (60-70 percent), Europe and some overseas markets.
As part of the new setup, Force which has its headquarters in Norway, has concentrated its central warehousing at Aalborg, Denmark, for acceptance and storing of the equipment and components, produced in South Korea and Northern Ireland. In addition Force works with a broad range of Nordic and European sub-suppliers.
