Copenhagen, JAN 21, 2003 (newstodate): British Airwaysa World Cargo is implementing Tradevision's airline solution to serve as the backbone of the company's CDMP (Common Data Management Platform) to meet the standards of Cargo 2000-certification.
-BAWC has been working with Tradevision for the past six months to ensure we are in a position to begin monitoring airport to airport Cargo 2000 shipments at London Heathrow, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Frankfurt, said Les Howell, Manager Systems and Supplier Management, British Airways World Cargo.
-We plan to run a complete set of Phase 1 Cargo 2000 reports beginning February 2003 upon successful user acceptance testing of the CDMP.
With BAWC, Tradevision will provide a range of services including electronic AWBs, monitoring of shipments at master air waybill level from airport to airport, quality report compilation, automated freight status status, discrepancy reports, route map creation and departure time reporting, to enhance decision-making for fulfilling customer expectations and ensuring standardized processes for improved service levels.
