Mar 16, 2018 (newstodate): A carrier in the Aeroflot Group, Pobeda Airlines is expanding its business significantly in 2018.
The low-cost airline will launch flights on a new route from Moscow Vnukovo Airport to Mineralnye Vody on April 16, 2018, and during the coming summer schedule Pobeda will be serving flights to some 80 destinations, compared to 58 destinations in last year's summer schedule.
Established in September 2014 and performing its first flight on December 1, 2014,, Pobeda Airlines now operates a fleet comprising 13 Boeing 737-800 aircraft, and plans are to add another six aircraft in 2018.
Pobeda Airlines is also provider of cargo capacity and made its entry, quite surprisingly, on the Top-5 list of Russian cargo-carrying airlines in January 2018, taking up the #3 position carrying 2,453 tonnes and increasing 42 percent, y-o-y.
