Sep 15, 2017 (newstodate): Finnair is to take delivery of its 11th Airbus A350 aircraft before the end of this month.
After two test flights, the latest new Airbus aircraft for Finnair has now performed its third flight, a Customer Acceptance Flight as one of the final steps before releasing the aircraft to fly to the carrier's home turf in Helsinki.
With this delivery, the carrier will have to wait till next year to see another fresh Airbus A350 joining the fleet unless the carrier manages to take over vacant production slots.
Finnair received its first Airbus A350 aircraft from Airbus on October 7, 2015 and has placed orders for a total of 19 A350-900 aircraft that will all have been delivered by 2023.
