Aug 16, 2017 (newstodate): Plans are underway for creating another single sky, this time formed by countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, EEMA.
Members countires include Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, and preliminary plans are for start of the process already from January 1, 2018, and the process should then be completed in 2020.
If realized, the EEMA Single Sky would allow carriers from the member countries to operate freely into and between the national markets, while uniform tariffs would also be established for air navigation and other infrastructural services.
