Aug 11, 2017 (newstodate): Air India will perform the first flight on the route from Delhi to Stockholm Arlanda Airport on August 16, 2017.
With only few days to go, the airline has however been little communicative in its approach to the market, including the press.
What is known, however, is that the SAS Group's handling subsidiary SGH has been contracted for passenger handling while the cargo handling partner at Stockholm will be Spirit Air Cargo Handling.
No news has, however, been announced about the outcome of Air India's tender for a cargo GSSA in the Scandinavian markets.
Air India will offer three weekly rotations using Boeing 787-8 aircraft at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, and from September 16, 2017, Air India is also to go online from Delhi to Copenhagen, Denmark, with three weekly Boeing 787-8 rotations.
It remains to be seen if the carrier is also to contract SGH and Spirit for its handling in Denmark.
