May 22, 2017 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic confirms that it expects a stream of new CS300 deliveries over the next few weeks.
-airBaltic is planning to receive five more aircraft of its 20 Bombardier CS300 jets on firm order until the end of July, a company spokesperson confirms to newstodate.
Earlier, the carrier said it would have eight CS300 in the fleet by the end of 2017 only.
According to information available to newstodate, only one of these expectedly five additional CS300 aircraft is now on its wings with the first test flight on May 17, 2017, while the number of CS300 aircraft currently under production seems to be only four, including the aircraft under test flights, leaving one unaccounted for.
airBaltic plans to have taken delivery of all 20 aircraft ordered by the end of 2019.
