Jan 24, 2017 (newstodate): The Aeroflot Group added 56 new aircraft to its airline fleets in 2016.
Deliveries included nine Boeing 737-800, seven Boeing 747, seven Boeing 777-300ER, six Superjet 100, one Airbus A319, five DHC8-Q400, nine Airbus A320 and 12 Airbus A321 aircraft.
But also in 2016, five Airbus A319, six Airbus A321, four Airbus A320, three Boeing 737-500, two Boeing 737-800, one Boeing 767, two Boeing 777-200 and two AN-148 left the Aeroflot Group fleets, reducing the net intake of aircraft to 31, leaving the Group with a total of 289 aircraft by the end of the year.
The largest airline in the Group remained Aeroflot with a fleet of 189 aircraft by the end of 2016, with a net increase of 22 aircraft.
