Apr 24, 2015 (newstodate): When Greenland Express finally lifts off on its first flight from Billund Airport, now tentatively postponed till June 14, 2015, it will be with a new capacity provider.
Replacing its former partner Denim Air will be the Portuguese carrier White Airways, a private charter airline that operates leisure charter flights out of Lisbon Portela Airport.
White Airways operates a fleet comprising eight aircraft including three Airbus A320-200 aircraft, one of which will be dedicated to serving Greenland Express on its routes between Billund, Copenhagen and Greenland's two Atlantic airports.
White Airways will be operating on an ACMI contract with Greenland Express that is, however, filing its application with the Danish CAA for an own AOC.
