Dec 18, 2014 (newstodate): In connection with the announcement of its Annual Result 2013-14, SAS has published news of a new intercontinental route from Stockholm.
Starting from September 2015, SAS will launch flights from Stockholm to Hong Kong with five weekly rotations using Airbus A340/330 on the route.
Until some 10 years ago, SAS offered flights to Hong Kong from Copenhagen, its main hub for intercontinental routes including flights to its existing Asian destinations Tokyo, Beijing and Shanghai.
Today, Stockholm's only SAS intercontinental route go to New York and Chicago, while Oslo has only one SAS route to New York.
